What Causes Young Children to Suffer Growing Pains?

One of the key culprits that leads to growing pains in children are use of adult sized equipments such as computers, carrying too much weight and spending excessive time on gadgets and electronic equipments. Most of the computers are made for adult use and when children use them they don’t maintain good posture, strain their hands and wrist using keyboards.

Due to this there are developing cases of diseases such as tendonitis, bursitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other such stress related injuries. Too much use of gadgets and games are causing stress development which is also one cause for growing pain in young children. Too much load on the shoulder of young children is the cause behind the back pain and is most common in each and every young child. It is found that around 65% of the young children going to school suffer from growing back pain. Excessive jumping, climbing and running are also the causes for growing pain.

Growing pain accumulates in the muscles and not joints. Thighs, part behind the knees and calves are the common areas affected by growing pain. Response of the child when paining part is touched helps in diagnosing the cause for growing pain.
