Should I Visit The E.R For Pain Relief? |
There are some people who do not like to visit the E.R and put off going there and because they do not go there, the pain gets worse and sometimes goes into infection. You should only go to the ER if you know that your doctor’s office is closed and that no one is there to help. While some don't like the fact of going to the doctor because of the wait, you can have a longer wait at the ER then what you would experience at the doctor’s office. The downfall is that when you go and see the ER be ready to do a lot of paperwork because unless if you have been there before they will not have any of your previous work. If you are having pain such as migraines chances are you will not be seen right away and will have a very long wait because ones that have life threatening pain and conditions get treated first. |
