Is There Pain Relief for Bee’s Sting?

1. Most non allergic person to bee’s sting needs only first aid.
2. Remove the poison caused by bee’s sting as soon as possible. Some experts suggests scratch sting by credit card.
3. Cover the area subjected to bee’s sting by protective clothes and repellents in order to avoid infection.
4. Rub ice on the area of bee’s sting which will help in relieving pain. Place a cloth between ices and skin so that the skin does not get freeze.
6. Use of ibuprofen such as Motrin or acetaminophen such as Tylenol as prescribed by the doctor or according to the label proves to be helpful in relieving pain.
7. Clean the sting site with soap and water and apply an antibiotic ointment.
8. Tetanus injection should be given to the patient.
9. In case of development of rashes on the body or itching with or without breathing problems antihistamine can be given. Also injections such as adrenaline can be given.
10. With low blood pressure and severe breathing problems, breathing tube may be replaced into trachea to relieve the pain.
11. If the sting is in the mouth or throat then a careful observation is required.
12. If the sting is on the eyeball, then you may need consultation by an eye doctor.
